Description

Safe Ministry Refresher – online (approximately 3 hours) 
For those who have completed approved safe ministry training within the last three years.

Previous training: If your training has expired or your previous training was the Junior Leader’s course, you need to complete Safe Ministry Essentials. If you are not sure, contact your local Safe Ministry Representative or log into your account and go to My Course Dashboard to see your last date of training. Leaders under 18yrs: If you are under 18 years of age you should not be attempting Safe Ministry Refresher (you must first complete Safe Ministry Essentials). We do not recommend leaders of this age access the Safe Ministry Training courses without the knowledge and consent of your parent/guardian, as some of the content may be confronting.

Course enrolment period: You will be enrolled in your online course for 6 months (this will be calculated from the date and time that you enrolled so please keep this in mind as you complete you training). If you do not complete the whole course within your enrolment period, you will need to re-enrol and re-start your training.

Safe Ministry training includes discussion of topics such as child abuse, family and domestic violence, abuse of power and bullying. Please contact the Safe Ministry Team (OSM) if this training may cause concern.

Cost

Safe Ministry Refresher $15 for Anglicans* | $25 for Other Denominations
*Subsidised cost for Sydney Anglicans by the Anglican Diocese of Sydney.

The Safe Ministry Team is committed to seeing every church receive the training they need. Please contact us if the cost of training is prohibitive.
